Why Can't I Be You?

Every damn day
I ask this question
Why can't I be you?

The world overturns
But still, it's in my head
Why can't I be you?

Elegant and proud
Like water in a lake
Why can't I be you?

All that was wanted
Like a present on Christmas day
Why can't I be you?

Water falls on my skin
Star-crossed lovers are between sheets
and Why can't I be you?

The noises echo in ears
Of scarred children
And I ask Why can't I be you?

The little dead boy rises
And the minds over others explode
Why can't I be you?

Every damn day
I ask the question
Why can't I be you?

And everyday
I remember
I hate you
Not really based on anything, just came up with the concept.

I can't say I undertand your poem and like all poetry I don't think it's supposed to be understood, but I it made sense to me in a very nonsense way...
I like the poem very much, by the way!.
