Ben's Earl Grey Tea Biscuits
* 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
* 1 Tbs. baking powder
* 1/4 tsp. salt
* 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
* 2 packets Earl Grey powder
X
* 1/2 cup powdered sugar
* 1 cup butter, softened
X
* 2/3 cup brewed Earl Grey tea – STRONG!
Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, and Earl Grey powder in a medium bowl.
In a separate, small bowl, mix together powdered sugar and butter until smooth. Take 3/4 cup of the butter/sugar mixture and cut in into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
Stir in tea until a soft dough forms.
Knead dough on a floured surface and roll out to 1/2 in. thickness. Do not over-knead, over-kneading will result in a tough biscuit, and no one likes those.
Cut out with a biscuit/cookie cutter and place on an slightly-greased baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees F for 12-15 minutes.

Are you sure you didn't mean a STICK of butter? Because a cup of butter is two sticks and well, I ended up having to add more of just about everything because it ended up REALLY soup-y.
